loosely related, but is there a reason why theres never any all ages shows where they still serve alcohol in windsor? i would guess it is because of the problems and legalities of having both. the ottawa space will be no alcohol but there are bars very close by. there are also restaurants, stores, gas stations, markets, and a million other things in the neighbourhood. and lanspeary park is directly across the street and has barbeque pits, picnic tables, swimming, etc. so hopefully it will elimate any loitering problems in front of the space. we can book shows any night of the week, and have longer sunday matinee shows/barbeques. its a good location right on the ottawa 4 bus route, and a pretty nice little space inside. there is also parking across the street at the park, and we'll work on getting a bike rack in the vicinity. james and i will be booking the genres we are more into (crust, sludge, anarcho, grind etc) but that will likely consist mainly of out of town bands.. for all other genres, promoters can contact us about renting the place out to book your own bands and take care of the door yourself. it'll be cheap, probably around $200 including PA. there will be a 5 or 6 dollar limit for admission price on shows that are all local bands. lastly this will be a positive youth space where everyone gives and recieves respect. there will be zero tolerance for violence! over the next few days we'll be nailing some more details down and either james or i will post them. any questions comments suggestions feel free to post here.

I'm glad to see some enthusiasm about this. Hopefully people will take this opportunity to make an effort to get out to shows, and book more shows so we can continue this as long as possible. Hope to see many of you there soon.

Sweet! I can't wait to check it out. Good luck guys.
And windsor could use some crust/grind shows. I wish Eating glass would come down here ):
