verified. bring it on so i can print that shit out and bring it to practise. Be honest. Ok well then here goes. the good: It sounds like you all know how to play your instruments. the bad: It sounds like you only know how to rip off your favourite metalcore bands. It sounds like you are very unoriginal It sounds like every windsor band for the past 8 years It sounds like your singer is very very angry, when in reality he has nothing to be mad about Why does he yell "lets get things started"? Is he mad that things aren't started yet? He should chill out. He repeats what sounds like "we'll ship them off to war" way too many times in a row. He sounds like a dying moose When the breakdown came I shut it off. I mean really? the standard breakdown? You had to go that route? There is more to music than pointless aggression and masturbatory guitar licks. back to the drawing board guys. seriously. If this is all you are going to do with your talent then you should all just give up.

P.S ditch the camoflauge guitar straps. I don't have to see your band to know that you have them.

haha thank you, very honest indeed. a little ignorant, but honest.
this is one of our old songs, and yes it's generic, cause thats what we were going for at the time; we hadn't found our 'sound' yet. We simply played shit that was fun at the time. funny thing is though, you probably would've liked the end of the song more than the rest of it. And yea, recording our shit did send us straight to the 'drawing board'.
as for the lyrics, the song is actually speaking against a camp in the states where young kids are taught that fighting in the war and killing is 'god's way'. thats where "well ship them off to war" came from i believe.
as for your smart-assed camo guitar strap comment haha, youd be surprised. I actually expected your entire message to be written in this standard feetonthedash format, I wasnt expecting good criticism. But since you apparently need to know, My strap is black, falling apart, and probably worth no more than $5. I use a fender telecaster and a VOX AC50 all-tube head, we pretty much look like an indie band. We dont go after any kind of "hard" visual image, i just use the gear i like. But if I came across a free camo strap I would totally use it... cause mine is falling apart.
Members/name may change, but we will never give up.

I wanna hear some HONEST criticism on our songwriting. bring it on suckas. Honestly, I don’t hate it. Name is a little silly (simpsons reference right?), but I don’t think the music is as typical as everyone is insinuating. Vocals remind me a little bit of Fall Silent. www.myspace.com/fallsilentnv (listen to 'the first seven inch club').

Didn’t read this before my first reply. Good to see a Windsor band attempting to sing about something besides 'representing', 'bringing the mosh', their 'bros', etc. Kudos.

I'd say a slight improvement over the current local "metal" bands. That being said, I like the vocals, don't like the lyrics (or at least that "let's get this started" part), some of the guitar/drumming is cool, some of it is vomit worthy (mainly the breakdown), but you all sound like you're good musicians.

This songs pretty cool, the intro riff really is nice, kinda reminds me of an 80's metal riff . I saw you guys a while ago though and you were really good. The song isn't that generic, sure there's a hardcore breakdown in the middle for 10 seconds, but then again, your genre is listed as metal/hardcore so I dunno why people are surprised .
